Meet The Team

Where passion for dance meets professional training in a nurturing environment for all ages.

Studio Director: Mrs. Tiffany

Mrs. Tiffany was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, where her love for the arts began at a very young age. By age 7, she was performing in drama productions and choral solos, which naturally led her to explore dance. She trained extensively at the renowned Dance Works Dance Center, where she built a strong foundation in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theater, and Jazz Funk. Her education also included training in Hip-Hop, Dance Fitness, and Cheerleading/Pom. At just 9 years old, she was accepted into a prestigious gifted and talented school for the arts in New York City.

After relocating to Florida, Mrs. Tiffany continued to pursue her passion for dance and education. She began teaching beginner technical classes while still in high school and holds certifications in Child Development, Surgical Nursing, and Dance Management.

With over 10 years of experience in the medical field, she eventually followed her heart and turned her passion into a career—creating a dance legacy her daughters could be proud of. In 2017, she founded SWDA (Shell We Dance Academy), a studio rooted in artistic excellence and dedicated to building both confidence and creativity in every dancer.

Mrs. Tiffany’s choreography has earned numerous accolades at regional and national competitions, recognized for both its innovation and emotional impact.

What brings her the greatest joy, however, is her students. Mrs. Tiffany pours her heart into every class and finds herself overwhelmed with pride and emotion when her dancers experience that special “ah-ha!” moment—when a skill clicks, confidence shines through, or a breakthrough in performance is made. Watching her students grow, not just as dancers but as individuals, is her true reward.

Mrs. Tiffany now manages a full studio schedule, along with a satellite location established in 2022 out of Sanford, FL . In 2023, she expanded the SWDA brand to include PDTC (Pivotal Dance Training Company), a program created from the belief that dance should be empowering—not exhausting; inspiring—not overwhelming. The rebrand focuses on providing a holistic and elevated dance journey where excellence and wellness go hand in hand. PDTC offers advanced technical training for dancers without requiring a competitive team commitment, making it accessible to all who wish to grow in their craft.

Instructor: Miss Megan

Meet Miss Megan!
Dance Instructor | Improv Enthusiast | Child Whisperer (especially the sparkly ones)

Originally from Apopka, Florida, Miss Megan kicked off her performance journey as a competitive cheerleader in her mom’s gym at just five years old. After moving to Nashville, Tennessee, she found her rhythm in dance—and never looked back. She danced competitively through high school, served on her school’s dance team all four years, and even performed in a powerful short film project directed by Stephen “Twitch” Boss and WiMo Creative, paying tribute to lives lost in the Columbine, Virginia Tech, and Sandy Hook tragedies.

By age 14, Megan was already in the gym and studio not just dancing, but teaching. Watching young dancers light up as they discover movement is one of her greatest joys. From tumbling to pirouettes, she believes the magic lies in the learning.

What’s Miss Megan’s favorite dance style? Improvisation! She says, “There’s nothing quite like letting the music take the lead and creating unique combinations and pictures that are organic to the soul.” Creative freedom, happy accidents, and bold expression? Yes, please!

She earned her BFA in Theatre and Dance from Austin Peay State University, where she studied many styles: ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip hop, dance for musical theater, dance composition (choreography) dance pedagogy (developmental milestones, and teaching techniques) and dance anatomy and kinesiology just to name a few. She performed for the theater and dance department and with the university’s Dance Ensemble and was a Principal Performer with the Modern Love Dance Company—all while balancing academic courses and a lot of coffee!

After earning her BFA in Theatre and Dance from Austin Peay State University, she taught both recreational and competitive dance in Michigan for two years. In 2023 Miss Megan relocated back to Apopka to be closer to her family. She’s thrilled to start her third season on the SWDA Team. While bringing her passion, experience, and a little sparkle to the studio—and she looks forward to continuing the journey!
